This is my personal rifle in the style of Isaac Haines. It has a 42 inch .45 cal Getz B weight barrel. The barrel is inlet into a very nice sugar maple blank. I put in 1/4 inch cast ON (I'm a southpaw), and it comes to the shoulder with the sights perfectly aligned. It has a large Siler lock with a handmade trigger, ram rod thimbles, and a one-piece nose cap. The patch box with a raised lid was also handmade by me. I forged the rear sight and fabrcated the front from a silver half dollar. The butt plate and trigger guard were sand castings. The stock is finished with John Bivins Express Oil, which is now marketed as Pyrmalyn Sealer and Filler.
